Lolo Jones, who won the USA and World Championships for hurdle events in 2013, has only achieved this feat through a great deal of dedication and perseverance. Jones, who was born to a single mother with five children in the midst of poverty and struggle when she was a kid, endured an exceptionally difficult early life. Lesley Brandt and her family made the move to Auckland, New Zealand in 1999. In Auckland she began her work in retail and later get promoted to IT managerial consultant.
